Sein Studium beendete er 2013 als Meistersch\u00fcler von Christina Kubisch (Audiovisuelle Kunst) in Saarbr\u00fccken. Seitdem erhielt er Auszeichnungen im In- und Ausland und war in zahlreichen Ausstellungen vertreten. Strickmann ist Gr\u00fcnder des Schnarcharchivs und Mitherausgeber beim Produzentenverlag ismellpainter. Tontr\u00e4ger seiner Solo- und Gruppenprojekte sind seit 2005 auf versch.
